The Beginning
FOME was founded by two young Venetian entrepreneurs, Bruno Forte and Attilio Meneghin. The company name is formed from the initials of their surnames. It all began in a converted stable in Tezze di Piave (TV), Italy, where FOME initially focused on mechanical work for third parties.

International Expansion
By the 1980s, FOME had shifted toward the production of fine art metal equipment, gaining recognition in the American market and beyond. Since 1978, the company has actively participated in international trade fairs, driving its global presence. FOME’s first dedicated production plant was built on the site the company still occupies today.

Innovation & Quality
Now operating from a 7,000 m² facility and employing around 50 staff, FOME remains committed to innovation and export excellence. Ongoing investment in advanced technologies ensures the company continues to develop new production methods. With the same passion and precision that inspired its founders over 50 years ago, FOME delivers quality and reliable service to artists and institutions worldwide.
