a plastic self-adhesive sheet. white procelain plates• Wash the plates with soapy water to degrease them.
• Apply the Parma colour, using a foam brush, on the rim of the serving plate. Follow the same step, but this time using opaline pink for the second plate. To obtain lighter colours, add a little bit of gloss medium. Allow to dry for 2 hours.
• Then, cut some stars of different sizes out of a plastic self-adhesive sheet. Using the "negative" stars as stencils, place the stencils around the rim of the plates. Paint inside the star stencil using a round brush. Paint gold stars on the serving plate and paint lavender (2/3 amethyst purple with 1/3 gloss medium) on the salad plate.
• Once your design is finished, allow to dry for 24 hours. Then place your piece in a cold kitchen oven. Set the temperature at 150°C or 300°F. Once the temperature has been reached (use an oven thermometer to verify the temperature), bake for 35 minutes. Then, turn off the oven, open the door and allow to cool.
• Once baked, your plates will be dishwasher safe.
